'Little Library'

Funds were raised and a Little Lending Library was built. It awaits warmed weather for installation. It will house books for children and adults that the community can borrow at any time.

Morrison Community Daycare Center

We offer affordable rent and other support to the Morrison Community Daycare Center, which is located in our building.

 

Morrison Food Pantry Volunteers

Every Thursday morning in May from 8 to 9:30AM, members of FPC volunteer at the Morrison Food Pantry located in The United Methodist Church. Come join us!

 

Morrison Ministers’ Council

The Council is made up of the ministers and leaders of the churches of Morrison. The group comes together regularly to discuss needs and challenges in the community and to provide support and funds to address them. The group also helps lead the annual town-wide Vacation Bible School that connects hundreds of children to the love of Christ. Recently the group has been working to address drug abuse and addiction and its impacts on children and families.

 

Sauk Valley Food Bank, Sterling IL

We support the Sauk Valley Food Bank, which provides free, nutritional food to community members in need, through annual donations and by sourcing food for the Free Community Meals through their services.

 

State Park Clean-Up

Every spring, around Earth Day, families from our congregation walk the trails of nearby Morrison-Rockwood State Park to pick up trash.

 

Victory Center, Clinton IA

The Victory Center Rescue Mission provides housing to the homeless, free meals and many other services to those in need in this region. FPC supports their efforts through an annual donation.
